CO2 leakage detection
UKCCSRC Flexible Funding 2020. Experimental data are the acoustic emission (AE) signals collected with three AE sensors when CO2 leak from a CO2 storage cylinder under different pressures. '5MPa_20kgh-1' means the data was collected when the pressure was 5MPa and the leakage rate was 20 kg/h. The sampling frequency of AE signals is 3MHz. Pure CO2 and CO2-N2 mixture in the storage cylinder was set to leak into the atmosphere by passing through a vent valve. The diameter of the leak pipeline is 25 mm. The material of the pipeline is 304 stainless steel while the leakage valve is opened from 1% to 6% with a step of 1%. Along the release pipeline, three identical AE sensors were mounted to detect CO2 leakage.
