Report: Sunderland, J, and Tully, M. 1970. Cruise Report for MV Surveyor. MGU Project 70/03. (IGS Report No 9) Positioning: Main Chain Decca using Decca Type 1844 Type receiver. Coastline corrections were applied to reduce fixed errors when within 0.5 Nm of the coast. Echo Sounding: Kelvin Hughes MS 32 Sonar Systems: EG&G side-scan sonar. Kelvin Hughes Transit sonar also used. Seismic Systems: Sparker System: EG&G sparker system with 263b hydrophone streamer. Most lines run at 1kJ Gravitymeter: LaCoste and Romberg Air Sea gravity meter. Magnetometer: RVU Barringer magnetometer
