Abstract

Climate change projection maps showing the potential future suitable habitats of non-native species under future climate change scenarios. The data is for the north-west European shelf seas. Files for the present day suitable habitat (1980-2009), and the future suitable habitat (2040-2069 and 2069-2098) are provided for each species.

The data was produced using a Maxent model (version 3.3.3k, downloaded from http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~schapire/maxent/). Present day species (1980 to 2009)** **presence records (from Ocean Biogeographic Information System (OBIS) (http://www.iobis.org) and the Global Biodiversity Information Facility (GBIF,2015) (http://data.gbif.org)) and climate change projection data (north‐west European shelf seas projection (Tinker et al., 2015, 2016, covering 43°N – 63°33′20″N and 18°20′W – 13°E) were entered into the model, and then Maxent produced the outputs.
