• Source data - Various base maps were used such as geology , soils and Ordinance survey followed by site surveys. • The work was digitised at 1:25,000 OS Pathfinder series. • External consultants digitised the lines and data which were then modified and checked in house. They were sent out as part of a general external consultation to practitioners. They are subject to ongoing reviews but there was a ten year review in 2014.
