Maritime Archaeology Access and Learning Workshops
The promotion of public knowledge, interest and engagement in issues surrounding maritime archaeology and aggregates is an area where there are many opportunities for increasing the range and profile of education and outreach activities. This is particularly evident in areas close to offshore aggregates dredging areas where there are often highly visible links to the industry through vessels, wharves and transportation. This project focused on capacity building to raise the profile of the resource through education and outreach.
