2014-2018 University of Plymouth Lyme Bay Baited Remote Underwater Video systems and Passive Acoustic Monitoring
Benthic mobile marine fauna abundance and Passive Acoustic Monitoring data located both inside and outside of Lyme Bay Statutory Instrument, on the South of the UK, from an assessment of the effects of a Marine Protected Area. The purpose of the study was to assess changes in benthic mobile fauna using Baited Remote Underwater Video systems and Passive Acoustic Monitoring as well as comparing the two methods.

This dataset was collected by the University of Plymouth for long term monitoring of Lyme Bay Marine Protected Area (MPA). Both Baited Remote Underwater Video systems and passive acoustic monitoring(processing methods in Davies et al., 2020). If any sensitive species or biotope records are present within this dataset, they will have been removed.
