Highland Council Community Council boundaries as defined in Community Council review 2009-2011. Boundaries agreed by consultation with existing Community Councils. Geometry is taken from previous versions of boundaries - created approx yr 2000 (captured against Ordnance Survey raster products from 1:10,000 - 1:250,000 in mountain and moorland areas). Updated alignements captured heads-up against 1:10000 base mapping Improved over time in more urban areas to no consistent standard. Spatial accuracy varies.
