This data has been collated utilizing external consultants, the source data being fisherman's logbooks (commercial gear) and monitoring fishing gear. Fisherman's gear data covers years 1982-2010, whilst monitoring fishing gear data span 1996-2010. A report by Bannister (2004) describes an early analysis of these data, and is much referenced. There are maps describing the fishing areas and positions of the experimental strings. Sampling is ongoing and this dataset may need updating.
