The Marine Management Organisation is required to set out any modifications that have been made following consultation on the draft East Marine Plan and why. Following consultation with stakeholders on the East Marine Plan a list of comments were collated, each one was reviewed by the marine planning team and the action taken was recorded in this dataset. The consultation process on the draft plans includes: * Formal public consultation on the draft plans for 12 weeks from 16 July 2013 to 8 October 2013 * 9 public drop-in sessions held during this period throughout the East area * Reporting area drop-in sessions in Scarborough and London * 2 decision-makers workshops with public authorities and regulators to explore approaches to implementation of the marine plans * Numerous presentations and meetings with stakeholder groups * MMO also received comments on the maps in the draft plans.
