Mae gennym 411 o adeiladau rhestredig yng Nghaerffili ac maen nhw'n cael eu dewis yn unol â meini prawf cenedlaethol, ac yn cael eu graddio yn I, II* neu II yn ôl eu pwysigrwydd. Mae'n rhaid i'r Cynulliad Cenedlaethol restru adeiladau o werth pensaernïol neu hanesyddol arbennig, a gwneir hyn gan asiantaeth o'r enw CADW on bydd angen caniatâd y Cyngor arnoch i ddymchwel adeilad rhestredig neu i gynnal unrhyw waith addasu neu ymestyn a fyddai’n effeithio ar ei gymeriad fel adeilad o ddiddordeb pensaernïol neu hanesyddol.
