Habitat point records from 1995 MNCR Firth and Lynn of Lorn training survey
Three sites in the Firth and Lynn of Lorn surveyed by standard MNCR sublittoral recording techniques along a transect line approximately 35 m long. Each recorder made their own records at each site including a separate set of habitat recording forms. Data used to check inter-surveyor variability. Three sites chosen for different types of habitat: Bach Island - exposed sublittoral rock; Dunstaffnage - mixed sediment and pebbles; Pladda Island - soft sediment with megafaunal burrowers. Records currently considered sensitive have been removed from this dataset.
