JM15/74
This BGS marine geochemical, geophysical and sampling survey took place in November/December 1974 in the North Sea, East of Teeside aboard the Royal Research Ship RRS John Murray. The purpose was to carry out marine sampling work in conjunction with the IGS Geochemistry Unit. A total of 583 km of data were collected Sea floor data were collected using a echo-sounder, transit sonar and a towed gamma spectrometer. Subsurface data were gathered using a pinger and sparker.
