The National Dataset List (NDL) has a baseline of datasets identified from the following sources: • Approved for Access list • Open Data list • Cabinet Office List (static) The following sources will then be used to gather information on how the datasets are shared, and to identify any dataset missed by the 3 sources above. • Value Added Reseller Spreadsheet • DataShare • WIYBY • Electronic Public Register • National I drive • Central Data Store • Easimap • 3rd Party licenced datasets FME Workbenches have been written which will automate the assessment of the dataset list sources, identify changes and update the National Dataset List on a regular basis Custodians and Technical Specialists are also consulted with to QC the data
