Major, volatile, and trace element composition, and sulfur isotope ratios of melt inclusions from volcanic arcs
This Excel spreadsheet provides the composition of volcanic glasses (melt inclusions, melt embayment and matrix glasses) analysed as part of NSF-NERC grant "Sulfur Cycling in Subduction Zones". In the spreadsheet is a "readme" worksheet that explains each column and the method of data collection if applicable. These data will be included in future publications. The samples are taken from Central America, Alaska and Northern Mariana Islands.

Major element composition of glasses, alongside their S and Cl content, and the composition of silicate minerals (olivine, clinopyroxene) were determined using electron microprobe analyses. These were carried out at the Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford, using a CAMECA SXFive FEG-EPMA. Volatile (H, C, F, S,Cl) contents and trace elements (Li, B) were determined using the IMS-7f and IMS-1270 instruments at the NERC Ion Microprobe Facility (NERC IMF), University of Edinburgh. Sulfur isotope analyses were carried out on the IMS-1270 instruments at NERC IMF for Central American and Aleutian samples. Marianas and Tonga samples were analysed using an IMS-1280 instrument at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. Full analytical details are provided in the supplementary material of Taracsák et al.
