The Solway Firth: broad scale habitat mapping
Field survey of the intertidal and subtidal areas of the Solway Firth (north shore). Intertidal using shore survey and SACFOR abundance scale, subtidal using RoxAnn, ground-truthed with ROV and 0.1m Van Veen grab. Phase 1, the intertidal shore based survey was undertaken between the 20th September and 30th September 1994, with additional work between 31st October and 2nd November 1994. Phase 2, the subtidal survey was carried out between 23rd September and 6th October 1994, working out of Kirkcudbright and Maryport harbours. Additional information source: Cutts, N. & Hemingway, K.
