Summary

The Skircoat ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public health data; a ward hex map; and primary and secondary school census data.

Skircoat ward is to the south of Halifax town centre, and is mainly residential. It includes the neighbourhoods of Bell Hall, Manor Drive, Huddersfield Road and Spring Hall, plus Long Wood on the escarpment overlooking the Calder Valley. There are local retail centres at Bell Hall and Skircoat. The Calderdale Royal Infirmary is within this ward.
