MOD DE&S Microsoft service contract Approval is given for expenditure up to £22.307m until 31/05/2018 for a 'Premier Support' agreement with Microsoft for technical professional services, with the following condition: 1. This approval does not include expenditure required for the Microsoft Custom Support Agreement (CSA). Department to return for further approval of the CSA expenditure as required. 2. MOD DE&S Base inventory & warehouse management services (BIWMS) Spend request HMG335 : MOD : BIWMS has been approved up to 92.5m with the following conditions: - The Cabinet Office CTO officeundertakes a review of the programme - Enact recommendations and price changes further to independent benchmarking of contractor costs and manpower effort validated by MOD Cost Analysis & Assurance Service prior to contract award. - Enact recommendations further to independent benchmarking of GOLDEsp solution. - Undertake sharing/re-utilising of solution artefacts and co-ordination with other IT transformation programs across MOD and its partners. - Any further spend is submitted to Cabinet Office for further approval £92.5M £92.5M 3.11.13
