Fucus seratus dominant with an average red algal understory including, Audouinella spp., Membranoptera alata, Ceramium spp., and Cladostephus spongiosus. Underboulder where turnable (unconsolidated) was mobile and poor, with Porcellana platycheles, spirorbidae and Verruca stroemia. More mobile areas had green ephemeral algae. Overhangs were rare but held Plumaria elegans and sponges.

Gastropods abundant and grazing very high in some areas. Underboulder restricted with Pomatoceros spp., bryozoa, Carcinus maenas and Porcellana platycheles.
