Typical sheltered sealoch - fucoid dominated boulder and bedrock shore with almost normal zonation pattern seen. However, only one Littorina littorea (no other littorinids), no Patella, very few barnacles, except for a few Balanus crenatus above the Fucus spiralis. Salinity low. Mytilus edulis under boulders and in crevices. Intertidal range foreshortened to approx. 1.5m.
