This data set has been derived from the Development Management system used by Cornwall Council's Planning and Regeneration Service. It should be noted that the data included does not necessarilly mean that a wind turbine exists on the site shown, merely that planning permission has been granted for the development.
It cannot be guaranteed that this is a complete picture of all the planning permissions for wind turbines (it may be that some were granted permission as part of a larger development scheme) but it can be used to give an impression of the number and spread of planning permissions for wind turbines throughout Cornwall.
