Data shows the number of DBS Certificates issued with Police National Computer (PNC) information (convictions, cautions, warnings and reprimands), Adult list information, Child list information and both Child and Adult list information from 2002 to present. The information is split by Standard and Enhanced levels of check and is in financial years. This includes data formerly held by the CRB but now owned by the DBS.
Please note that one DBS Certificate may contain a match on PNC, the Children’s List, Adult’s List and the list held under Section 142 of the Education Act 2002 but is recorded in each of the columns in the spreadsheet. Produced for an FOI request.
