This folder contains SEM data from six fossil-bearing surfaces in Newfoundland, alongside two publications that have arisen from the datasets. SEM data were collected from carbon-coated thin sections through sedimentary samples from Ediacaran bedding planes in Newfoundland. The data are divided by thin section/surface, and each sub-folder contains images (.BMP format), text files, spot point counts (as .emsa files), and .SIF files. The ‘NSSProject’ file (.xml) contains broader project data. The thin sections analysed originate from sedimentary samples collected prior to the start of this IRF, collected under permits issued by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador.
