Summary

A series of groundfish surveys were carried out from 1976 to 1991 in the eastern Irish Sea. Fishing took place using a Boris Goshawk trawl towed for an hour. Numbers at length by centimetre of the main commercial fish species (cod, plaice, sole, whiting) are recorded. Station positions by area are recorded. A summary table is included for the majority of cruises from 1981-1991 containing catch data for all other species.
