A series of groundfish surveys were carried out on the fishing vessel Silver
Star from 1976 to 1991 in the eastern Irish Sea. Fishing took place using a
Boris Goshawk trawl towed for an hour. This data is from the 3 surveys carried
out in 1987. Numbers at length by centimetre of the main commercial fish
species are recorded. Station positions by area are recorded. A summary table
is included for cruises 01/87, 02/87 and 03/87 containing catch data for all
other species.
