This is a spatial dataset that describes the geographic extent of functionally linked sites, locations and counts (ie.individual records with a unique ID) of Severn Estuary SPA interest species
The main aims of this project are to (i) gather evidence for movements of birds (both SPA Interest Species and others) between the Severn Estuary SPA and sites upstream of it in order to determine the existence of Functional Linkage with the SPA and (ii) determine the apparent value of sites in relation to numbers of birds found at those sites compared to the published numbers found on the SPA in order to characterise them in relation to the European protected site.
