Nature30 sites are a form of Other Effective area-based Conservation Measure (OECM), and are a non-statutory, bottom-up approach to conserving land to benefit biodiversity. These sites contribute to Scotland's 30 by 30 efforts, to reach 30% of land and sea protected by 2030.
