Air quality is monitored continuously at several sites in and around the city with continuous analysers. Real time data from our air quality monitoring network, and from sites in Bristol that are part of the national network. Monitoring focuses on the key traffic pollutants as prescribed by the National Air Quality Strategy so the network is dominated by oxides of nitrogen (NOx) analysers which are located at roadside (<5m from kerb) locations and represent residential exposure.
