The Barrow Borough Local Plan Pre Submission Draft is now at a stage where the Council considers it is ready for submission to the Secretary of State for independent examination. The Plan will be subjected to a 6 week public consultation to invite comments from consultees on whether they agree that the Plan is sound.
The consultation period will run from Friday 26th May to 5pm on Friday 7th July 2017.
The consultation document is available to view below together with the Proposals Map, Sustainability Appraisal and other supporting evidence. Please note this page will continue to be updated with supporting documentation.
Paper copies of the Plan and maps can also be viewed at Barrow Town Hall, Dalton Town Hall and libraries in the borough during normal opening hours.
