Summary

Data released by MHCLG showing dwelling stock esitmates for each district nationally, from 2001 to 2023 (2023 data is marked provisional).

This dataset is being created in order to generate a URL, as none appears to be availabel from MHCLG. However there is no change to the source data which can be downloaded fomr MHCLG by following the lined resources.

The reason for wanting a URL is to experiment with building the suggested new formula for number of new homes needed, set out in National Planning Policy Framework consultiton as at Spetember 2024.
