Summary

The Environmental Permitting Regulations brought together the IPPC (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control) Directive (EC/61/96) and the Waste Management Licensing Regulations in England and Wales. Facilities covered by this legislation are known as Installations or Waste Operations and include permitted operational and closed landfill sites.

This dataset covers all permitted landfill sites within the EPR regime and may be installations or waste operations.
