Parliament voting records

Find out how Members of Parliament and Lords vote on motions and legislation. UK Parliament publishes voting results for the House of Commons (from 2016) and House of Lords (from 1999), showing how each member voted.

You can:

  • browse voting records on the Parliament website
  • download proceedings in XML, JSON or CSV format
  • access the data through APIs

Voting in Parliament often includes physically dividing members into two different sections or ‘divisions’. There may be a difference between the official result of a division based on the Tellers’ count and the number of Members’ names recorded leading to minor count discrepancies. Read about divisions on the Parliament website.
