The Luddendenfoot ward dataset includes the ward map; demographic profile; Public Health England local health report; Index of Multiple Deprivation (IMD) factsheet; Public health data; elections data and maps; anti-poverty data; and other ward data. Luddendenfoot ward is to the west of Halifax, and is the third largest ward. It includes extensive areas of open moorland through which Luddenden Dene and Cragg Vale cut wooded valleys. The largest town is Mytholmroyd, and smaller settlements include Wainstalls, Midgley, Booth, Luddenden, Luddendenfoot and Cragg Vale. The Calder Valley bisects the ward east to west, where most of the industry and the main transport routes (road and rail) are located. There is a railway station at Mytholmroyd. New ward information 2026: There will be local (district) elections on 7th May 2026 for new wards following a Local Government Boundary Commission review. The information on this ward data page is based on ward boundaries that predate these elections. The Office for National Statistics is due to publish 2026 ward boundary information in June / July 2026.
