Gaist carried out a detail video survey of the council adopted highway network. The 2016 survey was utilised to assess the condition of all parts of the network and recorded five condition categories:
• Grade 1: very good
• Grade 2: good
• Grade 3: fair
• Grade 4: poor
• Grade 5: very poor
