Summary

WFD (Water Framework Directive) Artifcial Water Operational Catchments (Cycle 2) show how WFD work is grouped geographically for practical management purposes. The Artifical Water Operational catchments are the groupings of canal and surface water transfers which, by their nature, do not have natural catchments, and often cross surface water catchment boundaries.

These Operational catchments are groupings of canals and surface waters extracted from AfA292-2 WFD River, Canal and SWT Waterbodies Cycle 2 Attribution statement: © Environment Agency copyright and/or database right 2016. All rights reserved.
