The 2026.01 version of the marine habitat correlation tables is now available on the JNCC website and this version (2018.01) is now archived
Two tools have been created to investigate marine habitat correlations: the correlation spreadsheet and the correlation database. These two tools contain the same correlations, and are updated every 1–2 years.
Available here is the Access database version. This provides details of the correlations between habitats in the EUNIS marine habitat classification with habitats in the JNCC Marine Habitat Classification for Britain and Ireland and also listed habitats from various other classifications (Habitat's Directive Annex I, OSPAR, MCZ habitat FOCI, HPIs, MSFD predominant).
The database is accompanied by a user guide.
The same correlation tables are also available as a spreadsheet.
