Summary

The data contain information on the implantation of devices for managing patients with heart rhythm problems in hospitals in England. The data are taken from the National Audit of Cardiac Rhythm Management Devices.

The file for 2013-2014 contains information on the total number of pacemaker, ICD and CRT device implants carried out by each hospital in the financial year 2013-2014.

The files for 2010 and 2011 contain device implantation rates, adjusted for age and sex of local population, for all Primary Care Trusts and Cardiac Networks in England for 2010 and 2011.
