In October 2023 the Council Executive agreed to restore vehicle access to the city centre for Blue Badge holders and it is now a permanent feature of the city with two dedicated access routes:
• Goodramgate to Colliergate (opened January 2024)
• Blake Street to Lendal (opened March 2024)
This dataset provides a daily count of Blue Badge holders accessing the city centre via both the Goodramgate and Blake street access points.
