Summary

Boundaries definining Parking Zones within the borough. These have been introduced to improve parking conditions for local residents and businesses. They also help traffic, pedestrians and cyclists move safely in the borough. Parking Zones restrict car parking to holders of parking permits, usually but not exclusively local residents and business owners. Engineers use measuring wheel/tape measure on ground to design New parking restrictions and processed the data Parkmap over OS Mastermap basemap. Capture is a continual process, uploading to Traffweb public consultation and legally enforceable traffic management orders is on continual cycle, depending on approval of the legal orders.
