Get the latest data for England from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government. There are datasets in ODS format for:

• the number of households on local authority waiting lists since 1987
• local authority-owned dwellings let by local authorities since 1981
• evictions from local authority-owned dwellings by reason (such as rent arrears or anti-social behaviour) since 2010

You can also download historical or discontinued datasets in ODS or XLSX format on:

• local authority dwelling stock and average weekly rents, from 2011 to 2019
• local authority lettings, by region, from 1988 to 2011
• local authority average weekly rents, by district and region, from 1991 to 2023
• Private Registered Provider (PRP) average weekly rents, by district, from 1997 to 2023
