Littoral survey of the Lizard Peninsula round as far as Poldhu Bay in the west and the mouth of the Helford River in the east including bedrock, boulder and sediment shores ranging from very exposed to sheltered regarding wave action. The wide variety of shores included vertical bedrock, sand-scoured substrata and level bedrock platforms.
