Summary

Grab samples were taken along the length of the Firth from Kincardine to Gizzen Briggs. Drop down video was used, primarily to assess the extent and location of Mytilus edulis. Detailed diver surveys were carried out on areas of mussel bed, and cobble and pebble areas with diverse epifauna. Transects and core samples were carried out in the intertidal. 9 events and 109 samples are entered in Marine Recorder.
