Published in November 2016 these projections are the first GLA ethnic group projections on the basis of 17 ethnic groups. Two variants have been produced based on the 2015 round GLA borough-level projections. The long-term migration variant is recommended for longer-term strategic planning while the short-term migration variant is favoured for projects with a more immediate scope. Please note that these projections make no attempt to account for the possible impacts on future populations of the UK’s exit from the European Union.
