Summary

This data is part of a a paired size selectivity gear trial fishing control and test pots along commercial strings. Test pot designs included horizontal, vertical and round escape gaps, including the commericial standard pot compliant with Sussex IFCA Shellfish Byelaw. All catch of Whelk (Buccinum undatum) in test and control pots was measured using calipers (Total Shell Length).
