Invitations to tender (ITTs) The Council publishes details to tender for contracts to provide goods, works and services on the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) Electronic Tendering Portal at www.nepoportal.org This link will take you directly to the North East Procurement Organisation Portal's home page where all 12 North East Councils advertise their procurement opportunities. In order to see Newcastle's specific opportunities please follow this process: Click on 'Current Opportunities'; Click on 'Search Latest Opportunities'; Select 'Newcastle City Council' from the Organisation dropdown box; Then click the Search tab. This will display all opportunites that are open to all suppliers. Contracts register Details of all current contracts which the Council has either awarded directly or participates in is published on the NEPO Portal at www.nepoportal.org The contract register includes details of all contracts, commissioned activity and framework agreements. As new contracts are awarded the contracts register is automatically updated. Waste collection contracts The council undetakes its statutory (refuse and recucling) and optional (garden waste) waste collections in-house and does not contract out to a third party for any of these collections.
