Marine algae records from Lundy digitised from paper format to MEDIN standard format. The survey was undertaken primarily to investigate the sublittoral flora (marine algae) for comparison with other regions; the intertidal vegetation was examined where opportunity permitted. Survey dates August 2-9, 1969, July 4-1 l, 1970. March-April, 1970, and July 23-31,197I. Techniques included complete removal of vegetation from metre quadrats of recorded depth, locality and habitat, for subsequent detailed examination ashore.
