The dense Verrucaria maura band was 1m wide, with Pelvetia canaliculata & Fucus spiralis sparsely scattered below. Ligea oceanica, Littorina saxatalis & Littorina neritiodes were occaisionally found in crevices. Supralittoral lichen cover was good, dominantly indet grey lichens , Xanthoria parientina and Caloplaca thallincola.
