Three folders of images taken during fieldwork or museum collection visits funded by this IRF. Photographs document late Ediacaran fossil specimens, sedimentological features, and field localities. Each folder is arranged by broad locality, and then by taxon (in the case of the Lyamtsa locality).Taxa include Charnia, Dickinsonia, Yorgia, Palaeopascichnus, Nemiana, as well as filamentous impressions, microbial mat fabrics, holdfast discs, and abiotic sedimentary structures. The “Arkhangelsk archive” folder contains images of Dickinsonia specimens that were reported by Dzik and Ivantsov (2002) as possessing internal anatomical structures. Photographs were taken to document fossil specimens, field localities, and sedimentary structures discovered during our fieldwork. These images will be useful to geoscientists with an interest in Ediacaran macropalaeontology.
