Summary

All data were collected in 15 plots across Wytham Woods, near Oxford in southern England. The data contributed to a project on the ecological impact of ash dieback and were used to quantify the differences between habitats with varying levels of ash dieback represented by different treatments as outlined in the metadata. Ground flora species and percentage cover collected in May between 2021–2024. Monthly (bi-weekly in autumn) fine litter fall data separated into categories of e.g. twigs, leaves, seeds, etc. Dry weights are available for each category along with days between sampling occasions and litter fall trap size. Data available between 2020–2024. Leaf litter feeding invertebrate data collected on four occasions between September–November 2022. Invertebrate wet weights are available from replicated soil pits and quadrats across 15 plots enabling both spatial and temporal analyses.
