There was heavy infestation by Membranipora membranacea and Obelia geniculata. Echinoderm species were common, and there were many Sagartia elegans in gullies where rapid water movement occurred. Also in gullies were luxuriant growths of Tubularia indivisa with associated amphipods and several Urticina felina.
