To learn more about the behaviour of cod and other fish as they enter the net
by modifying a standard NE coast trawl to hold two separator panels running
the entire length of the net. A series of hauls will be undertaken to see
where cod and the other fish are captured in the net. This will lead to better
designs of cod-avoidance gears.
